Being the pop culture junkie that I am, I have sense of nostalgia that borders on the obsessive.

The purpose of this column is to expose that nostalgic addiction to the light of day and use it to reach out to people with similar sensibilities.

This being a blog about Marvel comics, that's where the focus will be at first. But I'll also branch out to toys, cartoons, (for me, one of the best things about reading a comic from the 80's is seeing the advertisements for the Saturday morning cartoon lineups for the major networks. *sigh* It's like a nostalgia orgasm. lol), candy, etc.

Being 35, this column will carry a decidedly 80's slant, though I am in touch enough to include the 70's and 90's as well. So, for those of you who fondly remember a Saturday morning of cartoons and your favorite sugary cereal, I say welcome home, kindred spirit!
